HICHANI FINALLY JOIN ZESCO AND WILL WEAR JERSEY No. 26 Zambia International defender Hichani Himoonde has finally joined Zesco United Football Club on a short term loan from Sundowns after the South African club exceeded its foreign quota for the 2013/2014 season and will wear the club’s jersey number 26. Himonde arrived on tuesday morning and he went straight to training to begin his 6 months loan from PSL Club Mamelodi Sundowns. The chipolopolo centre back had to be kept in South Africa for a while to attain match fitness in a special training arranged by Sundowns. However, Himonde has insisted that he will have no problem adapting to Zesco’s game plan and he is likely to feature in this weekend’s match against Nchanga Rangers at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola. Meanwhile, Zesco Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Justin Mumba has also confirmed that the player’s International Transfer Certificate is done and he’s registered to play in the 2014 FAZ/MTN Super League. zambianfootball.co.zm
