HISTORY CHANNEL Was watching a documentary on ancient marvels (had just turned on the tube, at random) and within seconds my ears were grabbed by the narrator, who was mentioning both Corinth and Ephesus, almost within the same breath. Seems archeologists had uncovered some evidence that both cities possessed technology (one was the ability to lower a 3 ton sarcophagus into a grave pit, something that would take a large crane, today) equal to or nearly beyond what we have, today. That would be interesting to anyone familiar with Paul and the Bible, wouldnt it? History Channel has a tendency to put a lot of stock and emphasis on evolution and aliens, (theres the big-haired guy who thinks everything came from that source-just ASK him! :-P ] but this time they (unintentionally, Im thinking) made a treat for those of us who are Pauline historians.
