HISTORY OF HON. GERALD OTIENO KAJWANG. He was born in July 15th 1956 at Waondo town, Mbita Constituency in Homa bay County. He attended Maseno school in 1973 b4 proceeding to Nairobi University to pursue Bachelor of Law. He also holds Masters in Law frm Makerere Uni. He married DR. Rose Otieno and they were blessed with children. B4 joining politics, he was a practising advocate of the High court of Kenya and a political activist for Democracy( MAPAMBANO). He was 1st elected to parliament in 1997 as the MP for Mbita constituency. He was re elected in 2002 and served as the secretary for parliament group in the ruling coalition NARC. In 2008 he was apointed the Minister for imigration in the coalition government after wining the MP seat. In 2013 he was elected as the SENATOR of HOMA BAY county, HON. KAJWANG was an exotic player in ODM party. He was a christian and a strong believer of the Sevent Day Adventist( SDA) God is good all the time and vice versa He died on 18th Nov. 2014 frm cardiac atack
