HKHS Girls Swimming: H-K 114 Rocky Hill 70 It was senior night for Rocky Hill. HK jumped out to an early lead thanks to a 1,3 finish in the 200 Medley Relay. HK was up 43 to 19 going into diving after a 1,2,3 finish in the 50 Freestyle by Jillian, Tess, and Marina (who out touched Rocky Hill’s Callie Sullivan at the wall). First year diver, Daria Mazziotti took second place in her best performance of the year with a 136.70. For the remaining events, HK took first place in every event except for the 100 Breststroke. Freshman Nichol Kuipers did a great job in the 500 Freestyle, taking home third place in her first attempt at swimming the event this season. Coach Etlinger said, While it was a solid win, our eleventh of the season, it was not our best performance. We need to focus on some fine tuning as we head into the final week of the season and look ahead to Class S Championships and State Opens.
