HOLY WEEK is always a huge Christian holiday in the Philippines. Its considered the most sacred holiday. Today we celebrate Good Friday. Theres no work, everything virtually stops,and the streets in the city are practically empty. We use this time to reflect and remember the high price that was paid by the One and Only Son of God, Jesus on the cross to save humanity from utter damnation. At one time the Bible says we were a people without hope. Ephesians 2:12 says 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Thank You Lord Jesus for the finished work of the cross!
