HOME, LOOOONG day BUT.......tumor was 15.1 x 10.1 x 17.6 & is now 14.4 x 8.8 x 17.6, that one dimension kinda hanging on. STILL HUGE but shrinking. But the GREAT news today was NO MORE CHEMO!!!! Which means NO MORE WEEKLY BLOOD DRAWS & NO MORE PLANNING A LIFE AROUND BEING SICK FOR 4 DAYS EVERY OTHER WEEK!!! The look of relief, surprise and joy on Nates face as that thought processed through his head was priceless!! We still have a long long way to go but this was an answer to prayers!!! The plan is a MRI in Dec. & U of M in Feb although we were offered a year not 6 months, our choice!! Dr. is confident that the beast will continue to shrink. Nate was given Sulindac, the drug we first started on a year ago. It is an anti inflammatory & should help withe pain. With the freedom from the infusion clinic Nate started to plan his life. ALL the way home he was talking about what he could do now and what he WOULD do now!! He wants a job!! Ok, he can only get a desk job as right now manual labor is out of the question but someday this monster will be tiny & weak & only a bad distant memory!! Thank you, thank you all!!!!! SOOOOO SOOOO Happy!!!!!
