HOME by Mae M Barangan Having all the courage to go abroad to meet the needs of her childrens education, she held back her tears as she walk away from her family. Its not just her bags where she packed her things and her memries on the place she called home that makes her walking seemingly like hiking over a boulder...its her fragile heart thats overflowing with so much desperation. Desperate that she had to sacrifice all the time she should be spending with her kids to fulfill her duty as a mother. The plane is waiting and she had to walk away faster. As the distance from her family is getting farther, her heart is growing heavier. But she had to remain calmed and beautiful. The smile that was crafted on her face while she waved her hand goodbye was all she had to keep still.Because she is a woman of essence. Her hopeful heart that ensures shell be a good provider no matter where life may take her, is all she had to promise her family. Uncertain to whare desiny will take her, she is determined to adopt herself into a new race, new culture, new food, and a new home. A mother who left her family to work abroad may have the benefit of seeing another world and the priviledge to discover the other part of her entity. The taught of living is her assurance that she will gain more money so that she maybe able to support the needs and education of her growing children. The risk is all she had to ignore just to keep herself strong no matter how hard she labors. Yes, she has all the perseverance. Perhaps while shes mopping the floor, she is thinking, might wondering what her children are doing; just before she bites her sandwich, she might be thingking about how she laugh at times when her children are all around her arms; and at night, before her tired physique rests, she might closes her eyes with a tearful prayer, thinking about her children, begging God to protect them. Imagining how she survives a day without her children is a faithful sacrifice, a mother can have, that can never be measured. To realize the very sense why there are mothers who chooses to leave their family for a greener pasture is not enough to justify the thought of leaving her children. Sacrificing not see her kids growing makes her in debt to quality time she should be spending with them. But considering her effort to live in a house where half of her heart and thoughts was left to where she built a safe home for her children, means she laid a life that protects them...a life that is very willing to bring a light for their future. No matter how one questions why she left, no accurate answer can never be supplied. For a mothers love to her children is as wide as the ocean and as high as the heaven that sees the judgmental world below.#
