All you have to do is go into your neighbors house, open their desk, pull out their checkbook and start writing away. Well this is exactly what the Washington County School District is going to do on November 5th, 2013. The largest bureaucracy and the largest employer in Washington County is about to commit a very egregious criminal act, usually performed by only those afflicted with meth mouth and neck tats. The burglar who commits home invasion, forgery and robbery to feed his addiction usually gets caught, and justly winds up behind prison walls, if hes lucky enough to escape the wrath of mister homeowners BFF, Mr. 9mm...WCSD however, will continue to intoxicate itself with overstaffing, new buildings, catered staff lunches and abuse of authority for the foreseeable future because... well... because they can. In recent weeks newly appointed superintendent Mr. Bergstrom and School Bond administrator Mr. Bills have launched a propaganda campaign on the local airwaves pitching the virtues of the above stated purposes of Proposition 9. The only reasoning for their theft... I mean forgery...I meant taxation!... Geez!... is to build new schools to accommodate a continued 3% growth in order to avoid {gulp} over crowding which could lead to {double big gulp avec frantic whisper} ...year round school sessions! Forget about adding 1 or 2 temporary buildings to handle this menacing influx which is purely speculation... they want your money instead. This is absolute hogwash. The practice is called Block Voting and WCSD intends to flex all of its bureaucratic block voting table muscle in order to gorge itself. Forget about scientific studies and due diligence, WCSD is giving the public all of a two page brochure with rudimentary information to ask for their 185,000,000 dollar hand-out. washk12.org/blog/item/special-bond-proposition-9-information They know the publicity campaign with media interviews ect. is a dog and pony show allowing them free time away from their publicly funded jobs I exposed the planned WCSD bureaucratic coup on the Mike MacGeary show recently and mayoral candidate John Pike called in to refute my claims of irresponsible and unconstitutional taxation with claims that there is more information in the form of scientific studies at the County offices and District offices. John Pike is a liar, firstly why would county offices have information about the school district and secondly, I went down to the WCSD offices and inquired about the supposed responsible studies and they simply dont have it. Your city council member and aspiring Mayor was caught lying to the public. Why John? Maybe you had this vision on one of your regular 18 mile training runs to Gunlock and back which you also claimed is part of your routine. I dont think youve ran 18 miles in your life! Couple these lies with the fact you are an MBA with a successful career in the healthcare and insurance industries and you should be disqualified from holding any public office. The healthcare and insurance industries are two of the most corrupt industries, decimated by scheming MBA’s everywhere to the point where now we have socialized medicine. Didn’t Karl Marx say “We will hang the last capitalist with the rope he sells us”. So why is this important to me? Because I am sick and tired of government dominated industry in Washington County. We need less bureaucracy and more free enterprise. True change comes from within and the public needs to hold their local politicians accountable.
