HOPE وَلَا تَهِنُوا فِي ابْتِغَاءِ الْقَوْمِ إِن تَكُونُوا تَأْلَمُونَ فَإِنَّهُمْ يَأْلَمُونَ كَمَا تَأْلَمُونَ وَتَرْجُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَرْجُونَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا And do not become weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they too suffer pain as you suffer pain, but you hope from Allah (of His infinite Mercy, retribution and justice and the eternal delights of Jannah)what they do not hope for; and Allah is all-Knowing, all-Wise an-Nisaa:104- So our hope is tied to His promise and this is sufficient to take away the sorrow we may feel when we hear the news of the fallen martyrs. So do not despair; we hope from Allah what they, the disbelievers, can never fathom. They fight us with their weaponry, but we fight them, yes with sticks and stones, but with hearts full of hope.
