She loves giving kisses and hugs. She came to shelter with her older housemate Monterey when their owner was arrested. She will pay the price with her life for something her owner did whatever he/she did. Two beautiful girls, very different from each other in many ways but living together... Monterey is an older female, a Collie with thick, silky and long hair of various shades. She must have been a breathtaking beauty while in her prime. She looks so lost now as she does not understand the turn of events... I find her so beautiful, looking like an antique and expensive stuffed toy animal of my childhood. She walks slowly but surely, climbs up stairs and even eliminates on the way. She is so out of place. Monterey sits on command next to me and accepts combing and caresses. She is such a sweet girl who needs comfort and love. I hope that soon enough lovely Monterey will find her balance. She is a low key female who needs a home sweet home and the love of a master. Monterey has still a number of years ahead of her and is so worth to be a forever best friend.
