HOW CAN THE IMPOSSIBLE BE POSSIBLE? “After my DAD’S FUNERAL - TopicsExpress

HOW CAN THE IMPOSSIBLE BE POSSIBLE? “After my DAD’S FUNERAL we gathered at the home he shared with his second wife. I went into a room alone and prayerfully asked that I receive A SIGN assuring me that Dad was in Heaven. Then, I went back to sit with my family. My dad’s wife asked if we would like to hear ‘Amazing Grace,’ again. A bagpiper had played it beautifully at the cemetery, and we knew it would have meant a lot to him. She PUT ON A RECORDING. What happened next was startling. Without a pause after ‘Amazing Grace’ concluded, the song ‘Over the Rainbow’ began. We had played THAT SONG at my MOTHER’S funeral, previously. It was a song she sang often when I was a child. Months later I remained astonished with the juxtaposition of those two songs, wondering if they had both been recorded on the same disk, which would have explained how they could have played back to back. I asked my Dad’s wife if she still had the disk she played for us that day. She sent it to me. I soon realized the disk held only one song ... ‘Amazing Grace’. Therefore the playing of the second meaningful song, “Over The Rainbow,” was a mystery, yet, it was the miraculous sign I’d asked for, confirming that Dad was in Heaven. That’s a Godwink I shall never forget.” Suzanne Sheffield •••• When we ask, “How could that be possible,” all we have to remember is that God can do the IMpossible. “All things are possible for one who believes,” we are promised in Mark (9:23). Suzanne can be confident that her Godwink was indeed the answer to her prayer. Just like YOU can! Wishes for winks. SQ
