HOW DO YOU PERCEIVE THINGS? ... God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.(2 Cor. 1:3-4,NLT) Sometimes we can behave so predictably. As if we have been wired to always think negative first before positive. Immediately we sense trouble, the first thought is whether it is a punishment from God for some unknown sin. We must have another way of seeing the troubles or challenges that we face. It could be that God is drawing our attention to an area of our life where we need to take serious. Or He is equipping and preparing us for greater things by using those tough situations. We must be assured that once He is the source of all comfort, He knows exactly how to make whatever situation we are in work together for good. We can rejoice, too when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.(Rom. 5:3-4,NLT) Not every trouble is meant for your doom. Learn to see things differently.
