HOW MUCH DO YOU WORTH? Good Morning Friends, Happy Saturday Morning! Some time ago, while I was still thinking of making some cool cash (just thinking you know), a friend called me at 11pm and said Clarkson I just got to the park, our journey wasnt so smooth, sorry to disturb you but there is this guy with me and I want him to stay with you for the night, hell be gone by tomorrow morning, His journey from here is still far and there aint no taxi going there now, please Well I agreed, I manged to get to the place and I got the young man home and he rested. As I tried to get on with my thinking, the young man asked a question; Sir, how does one know his purpose? #Hmm, trust me that night I wasnt in the mood for long talks, I just wanted to focus but then I had to give him an answer, so I said; Its quite simple, if for instance you walk into a place with four other guys and you are the only one who spots the bulb is dead and theres power but you cant have light, because of the dead bulb And while everyone is relaxed, you are just uncomfortable, you just want to fix the bulb, then youve found it! Thats your purpose in this context When ever something in you cries out in the direction of a certain need, then its simple proof that the solution and answer lies within you and then you must begin to dig it! Your purpose is that thing you hate and that you want to fix so badly What do you hate? Find it, fix it, thats your assignment I finsihed and he looked at me and said: Sir Ive never heard it like this so simple, do you know I can actually pay 50,000 naira just to hear this anywhere, and sure it might not be this clear I simply said; its okay In my mind, I was begining to imagine 50,000 Naira, I mean, are my worth that amount? And the funny thing was I was thinking of how to make money when I was worth that much Well, I simply thought to myself, with more practice and personal development, soon Id be like Fela Durotoye or Steve Harris who get paid millions, just for talking 1hour! But you see As I kept working on this, I found out that our true worth is not how much we make or earn but rather its what we posses by virtue of what we have recieved An just before you run off to some self evalution and start thinking you are worthless, hear me; Christ is what you have recieved and he is all that you posses, with him you can be all that you set your mind on becoming HE IS YOUR WORTH See Colossians 3:10-11 TLB You are living a brand new kind of life that is continually learning more and more of what is right and trying to be more and more like Christ who created this new life within you In this New life ones nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant: such things mean nothing.Whether a person has Christ is what matters All thats counts is Christ!
