HRH Premier praises HSBCs prestigious status Manama, Jan. 13. (BNA) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Middle East and North Africa Mohammad Al Tuwaijri. HRH Premier appreciated the role played by HSBC Bank in supporting the banking sector in the kingdom, and praised its landmark contributions and efforts to provide training and job opportunities for Bahrainis. He praised HSBC Managements constant keenness to develop its operations in Bahrain. HRH Premier highlighted HSBCs distinguished status at the global arena, being one of the leading financial and banking institutions in the world. Mohammad Al Tuwaijri lauded the facilities and incentives provided by the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister, praising the kingdoms laws and financial and banking systems that help it host mega banking institutions. He praised the kingdoms positive and stimulating economic and investment environment, which, he said, has entitled it to be a centre for launching business and banking investments in the region. He also informed HRH Premier on HSBC Banks current and future policies and programmes.
