HUMANITY STARS LAUNCHES JOTNA ALBUM…… Describes the launching as a success. One of the leading live music bands in the Gambia Humanity stars former Humanity Band has just recently launch their debut album (JOTNA) at the penchami Hall at the paradise suites Hotel. The launching acoording to officials from the Humanity stars was a huge success. Speaking to Foroyaa’s Art and music Mr Mbye Bittaye said he want to start thanking all those who took time to come and grace the launching with them, he said without them they will not rate the occasion as a success. He said coming to Penchami hall for the first time was not easy but that they work it out to make it a success. Mr Bittaye said the Jotna album is an 8 track album which was recorded in Senegal and was release last December 2012. The album he added is at Kerewan Sounds and its sold at Jakaranda as well and other main stores in the Gambia. The manager said in the album they had a combination song with Pap Diouf, one of Senagalese leading singers of recent, he said that was fantastic because it was the first collabo they had internationally and Pap himself appreciated the collabo very well. Humanity stars all we do is work and releasing this album do not mean we are going to relax, he added. “ music is their life, I manage them I don’t play any instrument and I don’t sing, they don’t joke with their music, if I was a lazy manager I will not be here until this time, I have been with them since inception and that’s telling you that we are focus and dedicated to work.” The Humanity Stars manager said he want to thank all the Gambian musicians who came to support them at the launching, he said among them is Pa Omar Jack, Yussupha Ngum, Sambou susso, Jalikebba , T smallz, Jalimadi, Silky Cris, Papa Njie and a grand champion in wrestling Tas sa Yaram did some nice dance here today as well. “Even a single track in the album worth the price we are selling the album for, and no one will regret buying the album, the album cost just D150 and to tell you the truth we suffer a a lot to give the public and the fans good music, every single track in the album is a hit song, personally I can always listen to the album over and over and I still want to listen to it again. If any one buys the album and it does not please you come back and we will give you back your money” the manager assured. He reveal that Humanity Stars are coming with a different album soon and the album will be acoustic, it will be going internationally and that we want to sell the Gambian music abroad.
