New season lambs (610) sold to 178p per kg for 39kg BelX’s from Burnside, Marypark and to £81 gross for 54kg Chev’s from Little Ardinn, Turriff. SQQ up to 45.5kg (471) averaged 164.61p per kg. “Another mixy show of lambs was on offer and like all centres again this week, the trade eased once more. Well fleshed 40-43kg’s were still selling between the 169-178ppkg mark, while leaner types realised store price.
