Hab.3:17-19.1Thess.5:18 God commands to give thanks IN all situations as explained by the following verses, because, on matter your present challenge, trial or predicament, the moment you are a child of God:A) Rom.8:28 All things MUST turn around in your favour. Gen.50:20.B) 2Cor.2:14. Victory is your ultimate portion because God is on your side Rom.8:31,1Jn.4:4,5:4.C) 1Cor.10:13. No matter the difficult situation you find yourself in, God is gone ahead of you to make a way of escape for you. Isa.45:1-3, Rev.3:7-8.Analysis of Hab.3:17-10.1) Not blossom means no flowers heralding the forming of fruits. I.e. Barrenness or non productivity in business or career, no commensurate productivity as would have been expected with your age or years of input of labour.2) No fruit in the vines indicate that the vine plantation is grown, but there can be no wine. This is a situation of failure and unfulfilled expectation, e.g. Examination or Business failures.3) Labour of the olive fail means that there is no oil to show for the efforts of plantation and tending of the olive field, either through loss, theft, insect attack or enemy incursion. a) This means wasted efforts and failed investments.b) After a long period of investment in a business or family relationship, the other party abandons you and you are alone.c) After investing in a courtship over years, the oil of joy that marriage should bring is lacking, because it ends in disappointment.4) Field yields no meat means that you have planted ,watered, applied manure and rain refused to fall so that the seeds die in the ground.b) You get pregnant only to miscarry over and again.5) The flock is cut off from the fold means that there is a loss of flock.a) Either by wandering away and getting lost or being stolen by thieves or being eaten by wolves, bears, lions and other wild beasts.Isa.65:19-24.6) No herd in the stalls because of death by epidemic or fire disaster.7) YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD. No matter the loss, disaster, agony of separation, frustration ,disappointments ,pain, sorrow and all else, My choice MUST BE TO REJOICE.WHY MUST I REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS?1) To avoid being afflicted by sicknesses and diseases. .Prov.17:22..2) Science has proven that negative emotions and feelings of regret, sorrow, disappointment, anxiety , bitterness and offences open the body to attacks from afflictions and diseases. It begins with headache, migraine , insomnia and eventually, stroke and paralysis. Phil.4:6-7.3) To avoid being left in the darkness of death.4) To avoid being judged among the proud.Jeremiah 13:16-17 Give glory to the Lord your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. 17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord s flock is carried away captive.5) To avoid the curse of The Lord upon your life. Mal.2:1-2.6) To avoid being a victim of the anger of The Lord. Psa.50:22-23.7) By the time ingratitude and not rejoicing gets to the point of murmuring and complaining, destruction becomes a reality. 1Cor.10;10.AS I REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS:1) Joel.2:21-27, God will do great things.2) I will joy. Js.1:2-4. I shall be perfect and entire, lacking nothing.3) Neh.8:10 The joy of The Lord will strengthen me.4) God of my salvation will deliver me. Acts.16:24-26, 2Chron.20:20.5) My feet like hinds feet means He will give me speed. Psa.114:1-86) He will destroy all obstacles before me. Ex.14:13-15.7) He will set me on my high places. Psa.113:7-9, Psa.30:7.8) He will satisfy me with abundance .Psa.67:5-79) He will instruct me as to the next step to take. 2Kng.3:15-18, Isa.12:3, Psa.22:3, Isa.30:21.10) He will destroy all my enemies . Psa.150:3-7, 2Chron.20:12-29.11) God will make it turn around in my favour. Rom.8:28.12) God will make a way for me 1Cor.10:13.13) God will give me the victory. 2Cor.2:14.14) God will do something new Isa.43:18-19, Zeph.3:15-20.
