Had a bad scare today. Was told at work that there was a fire at my house. The longest ten minutes getting home. Thankfully it was just the pellet stove smoking. A little smoke smell in the house and a warning from the fire dept. not to use the stove until it can be inspected. I will gratefully take these results over what I was imagining in the time between hearing the devastating words to pulling up to the house and seeing that we still have a roof over our heads and the animals were shaken from the noise and strangers, but safe and sound. The only damage was the broken doorknob and bent metal on the front door from the firemen forcing the door open, but that was easily fixed.
