Had a blast last night doin sound for #TrickOrBeats #916Junglist 16 year reunion. The place was filled with great people, awesome vibes, fantastic costumes and of course, the music i fell in love with in 98, jungle/drum & bass. The DJs repped it hard, the retro arcade was in full effect, the photo booth was a huge hit, the lighting was tasteful and the 3 kegs of free beer were tapped in 3 hours. Back in the late 90s/early 00s, 916Junglist events were my homes away from home, so to speak - even just being in the shadows (or up front, studying the jungle DJs methods & techniques) - so, Im more than grateful to be a part of the production side of the family even a decade and a half later. Ive got mad love for the whole crew - theyre such a respectful, kind and hilarious bunch to be around. Again, glad to be a part of it all. So, anyway, heres an unprofessional, cam-phone video that captures a tidbit of what went on last night. Im sure there are plenty other (better) videos that are soon to surface soon, but in the meantime: On the decks: Evolve P.S. I cant believe I played Altered Beast!! Used to live that game.
