Had a good day with Marlis -- thank you so much Connie Laws for helping me get to Omaha! Marliss nurse said that Marlis has no temp today, her vital signs are good, and her neuro signs are stable. She did move her left knee just a bit when the nurse asked her to do so also. We read her cards to her -- she was tuned in and interested in them, and then hung them in the room so she can see them. She studied the picture of her dad that was sent to her; she would nod her head yes when we asked her questions. She stoked her stuffed animal kitty and shook her head no when we asked if she needed kitty litter. Will see her again tomorrow before we have to head home. Thank you for all the prayers, help, and support!
