Had a great, albeit short, visit in Oulu to see my family and friends. The weather had already turned autumnly, but that didnt bother me too much. Saw some art in Oulu art museum (Sense of time -exhibition tracing the 50 years of the collection was good, but couldve been more extensive) and at Terttu Jurvakainen gallery, shopped for reindeer meat and salmon in the market hall, swam twice 1,5 km in the swimming hall (bringing memories from my youth when I spent 5-6 days a week there training myself and coaching kids), dipped to the river from sauna with my brother, lunched with my dear friend Marja, witnessed my mum present a beautiful gift to my dad after more than 40 years of marriage, discussed about old memories, our lives and current politics with family friends, played on ipad with my nephew, planned future trips with my parents, ate too much and refused to take food back with me to Brussels. What more can you ask for?
