Had a great day today. Elwin and I went to Cabelas to just browse. I brought the wheel chair out to the truck then we headed for the entrance. The wheel chair would NOT fit through the door jamb. It took about 2 people to help Elwin get up out of the chair, walk through the door, then sit back down. Can you imagine the thinking behind this? However, once inside we just wheeled around looking at everything. A very large aquarium with numerous trout, bass, carp, etc. It was fun to just watch them swim around. So following Cabelas we went to the Chevy dealership and drove around looking at new cars. Elwin knows all the people who work there so we just parked near the show room and talked. We then went to eat at a place my folks used to visit called Gussecks (sp). Then on to the local gas station to purchase lottery tickets and milk. I got a chance to talk to Ann, a Chinese woman about our age who grew up in Saigon. I told her in had been in Danang in 1966 and she said she knew alot about Danang. Just a great woman who recently lost her husband. Nice conversation......Now watching TV.
