Had a hilarious experience just now- buckle up, long post- while driving home from shooting lighting on Antelope Island, I nearly hit a small Asian woman and her son while she was in the middle of the road. I stopped and asked if they were ok, and found that they were right from China and so language was at a minimum. From what I gathered, they took a taxi out to the island and thought they could call a taxi back- they didnt know the island closed at ten and no one could pick them up, so they were walking back to their hotel (easily 20 miles). I drove them back and they were adamant about paying me, which I of course said no. The lady ran to her room and came back with a tin full of Chinese Black Tea and wouldnt take no for an answer for me to take it. See people, photography saves lives!
