Had a lovely, informative, kindly afternoon and evening at the Regents Park Mosque... We had a medical lecture on Alzheimiers with an audience from multi faiths. Alli Anthony is part of the All-Party Parliamentary initiative to reach out into all the religious establishments to educate and promote dialogue on dementia in the elderly...There is a predictive stat that 850,000 of the elderly population in the GB will be diagnosed with dementia... Then we a very knowledgeable doctor from Jordan that was able to look at Islam and mental health.
