Had a new experience on the trail today. Ran into a group at the top of Wheeler Lake that seemed to feel they could just go wherever they wanted. I started to politely ask them to keep it on the trail, and they ignored that, got a little less polite, they continued to ignore it. Tell them what theyre doing is illegal, one of the guys says we know and when I asked why theyre doing it then the hotshot in his shiny buggy says because I can. We try to explain to them why we shouldnt be douches on the trail and they tried to blame US for trails getting closed down. Thats a new one . . . . full pics and details will be forwarded to the USFS and the asshat in the yellow YJ buggy will hopefully be getting a nice ticket in the mail.
