Had a nice few hours today attending the Buddist Temple Open Day with my daughter and son. We all got to have our names written in Chinese, saw demos of Thai Chi, Origami and looked through the Museum. The nicest part was the Multi-Faith service with prayers from an Aboriginal Elder, a Muslim Leader, a Hebrew man, an Australian man and a Buddist Nun. With every prayer they all agreed that we all live together in a multicultural country and they all prayed for peace and harmony all around the world. The service ended with a Lion Dance into the Temple to welcome in the Chinese New Year and everybody was given candy.
