Had a nice ride on Cherokee today. We saddled up and started out in the front pasture to warm her up and soften her face. Then went out to the field next door. We trotted a bit, then worked on the canter some. She is still trying to figure it all out. She was doing good going to the left, but on the right she would break gait a lot. Most of the problem is just getting the muscle tone built up. I actually convinced her to collect up a bit to the left, and it was more comfortable. She wants so bad to please you. What a great little mare.
