Had a *real* good time at the 2014 U.S. Indoor Champs this weekend :) My first on-road race in about, oh, *twenty-three* years. :P I got more comfortable turning *right* as the qualifiers went on. Sunday morning, I ran the last practice session after a change to the shock settings. Car felt a lot better. Then, because we were the second class out for the morning, my servo decided to take a dump :/ So, I missed the final qualifying race. Time to run the B-Main in VTA: I got better; took *three seconds* off of my best laps from Saturday. Colleen and I raced *hard* for last place! :P LOL... REALLY enjoyed the VTA A-main; that was one of the best R/C races Ive ever seen. Kinda funny how a lot of the VTA guys say you *GOTTA* have a HPI Camaro, but yet, that red 66 Mustang led most of the way for the main. It was some serious, hard, fun, clean racing. Thanks to Tony Carrubba for the servo, and thanks to Dave Morrow for the shock suggestion. *VERY SPECIAL* thanks to my wife for allowing me to race this weekend :)
