Had a really interesting week. What has really hit home is the power of relationships both past and present. Social media, phones, computers can be a great connector but nothing beats actually meeting and seeing people in person. Yesterday I spent time with people I havent seen in 15-20 years. It was amazing how easily you slip back into conversations with special people from your past, like there was never any distance and the emotion, love and pure acceptance in the environment was quite powerful. On the flip side I met for an impromptu quick lunch with a close girlfriend during the week and whilst we speak almost every day we rarely grab lunch and actually sit and talk away from everything. Keep connecting as best you can but dont forget to actually be physically present with people. Nothing can replace it.
