Had a rough time with Ruby today..i have no clue in the slightest what her deal was. I went to put her halter on, to lunge her, & she kept walkin away from me..even trotted away a couple times. It didnt take very long, but after about 10 mins of playing the "chase me" game, i got her halter and lead rope on her. She seemed a bit out of sorts, "Spunky" if you will, so i decided to walk her around more a few mins before i hook the lunge line on her & she was bein really pushy. turning and walking the other way when we would get close to the neighbors barn (on the other side of her fence). i didnt let her walk away but in a circle then back the direction i was trying to take her originally..and this happened about 5 times. then i hooked the lunge line up finally and it took me about 10 mins to get her to actually listen to my commands. She seemed frantic and nervous, like something happened. They were cuttin hay with the harvester today and it was kinda noisy but that cant be it..Iv tried to think of EVERY scenario of what it could be, in my head and her ALL OF A SUDDEN not wanting to walk towards the neighbors barn, makes me believe that one of the neighbors had something to do with it.... If i find out that someone is mistreating my horse, i WILL punch em in the throat SOOO effin hard, their mamas gonna be crying!!
