Had a talk yesterday for the iAcademy MODA #fashpiration series, the theme of my talk was the life and after life of a design student. So, I aptly titled it #thestruggleisreal. Because... really. It was an interesting afternoon, thank you Ariana Bagtas for the invite and to the whole batch of the fashion course for listening! Also, extremely grateful to share the stage with and listen to how Mr. Arnold Galang molded his career as a RTW designer (and to whom I shared a mutual and passionate love for Dries van Noten!). From fabrics to the local fashion scene, from manufacturing to branding, from the Philippines street style scene to Hongkongs, I definitely learned a lot from him.
