Had a very sad day today after learning of the passing of another Tennis Buddy, Jim Kelly. We met him on the court first when he partnered Luis Glass around 20 years ago. Then a couple years later, we found out he was an action Movie Star, and had costarred with Bruce Lee and Jim Brown. He has been joining us in Pacific Beach and Balboa for doubles the last few years, but, lately , " My hip is kinda bothering me. " He died of cancer on Saturday. He was a great competitor with fantastic strength & coordination; and will be missed .
