Had an awesomely awesome and adventurous day today in Edinburgh, Scotland. We climbed King Arthurs Seat (while I was wearing my Coach loafers, the only surviving shoes I have remaining) and enjoyed the gorgeous scenic views and footpaths around the area, perused the art at the National Gallery of Scotland, ate Scottish haggis, listened to a dude in a kilt playing bagpipes, went on a Harry Potter tour by night to see the cemetery where J.K. Rowling was inspired to use certain names for her characters (McGonnagal, Tom Riddell, Severis, etc.), the physical street that looks like Diagon Alley, the old building that has similar architecture as Hogwarts, and then dined at the cafe where she wrote a couple of the Harry Potter books. What a great last day in Scotland it was!! Feel free to check out my album for more photos. 😃
