Had an eventful, fun, day yesterday, in spite of an injured toe (I dont think its broken, just majorly bruised) First off, I go visit and feed Dancer every morning, which she expects, and if shes not waiting at the gate, she comes running when she hears my horn honking. The pasture is beginning to come in good, so she didnt take as long to eat yesterday, because she actually got full! Yeah!.... I should be starting to see her pick up weight a little more rapidly now. THEN, Ely and I headed to the western edge of the city, to Rockledge Ranch, to experience Pioneer Day with the 2nd grade class of grandson,Camden. Jennifer Harness Heffernan, my daughter, heads up this event every year, and puts mega time and planning into it. Lots of fun and history, dating back to the 1860s for the Ranch. If any of you come to Colorado Springs, or Colorado this summer, head on down here. Tons of stuff to see and do in this area alone!
