Had an interesting conversation today with one white West African and another from South Africa........We were discussing my book and the history......Now keep in mind they spoke of such ownership and their history in Africa.......White as sheets. One of the docs said her parents were missionaries that came from Dutch in the 1800s and the other of Portuguese descent.... I listened in unbelief! as they stated to one another .......and where Im from in MY country our government is doing this etc and then they talked about the poverty of those people as if black people arent the natives of their own damn country....... And when they spoke of pride in Their country I could have bit my toungue right out of my mouth, thinking.....Your Country......wtf, and the hesitation each of them had as I began to assert myself in the conversation................ I think they think either one day we will be invisible or they already assume we are............ THEIR COUNTRY! Wheres Robert Mugabe we have to get this shit under control?
