Had an interesting day trying to long arm quilt with my QBOT and long arm machine. I bought a new edge to edge pattern and started out like a trooper UNTIL something jammed and my machine locked up! I couldnt even get the needle to raise out of the quilt - jammed solid!!!! We tried everything, even tried to cut the needle off - no luck. We finally managed to get it out with a tool from my husbands tool box.....BUT, the machine was still jammed solid tight - needle was locked in the down position. After finally figuring out a way to get the thing off the frame, which had a quilt on it, I took it to a repair shop....caught them just before they closed. The owner was fabulous!!! He stayed an xtra hour to work on my machine, and $45.00 later I was home with a machine that purred like a kitten. Did I tell you that the owner just got back to the shop from having had laser eye surgery TODAY???? How unbelievable is that, that he would stay late, take my machine apart, and get my machine back up and running after just having had eye surgery?!?!?! Very thankful for his kindness!!!!
