Had been for the first time to another country in Africa last week. To Ethiopia. To Addis Ababa & from there 800 Kms down to interior of the country....to Asayta region, where we are setting up a large sugar plant and co-gen plant. One way went by flight to a place called Samera.....and for the first time landed in airport with no concrete or tarred tarmac....looked like some old airport of 2nd world war vintage....was scared when the flight almost landed on a muddy ground. And the return was by road - 800 Kms mainly thru barren and desert areas..... Some pictures of the airport/runway/roads with sand!!!!!
