Had my pre-observation meeting for my second observation yesterday afternoon, and because our principal is receptive and supportive and still very much an educator (even though shes retiring at the end of this year... :( ), I couldnt help but share with her some of my discoveries and plans for the coming year...which plans, she pointed out, are indicators of distinguished practice under the Danielson Framework which is the foundation of our Educator Effectiveness System of teacher evaluation. And I sorta KNEW that, but whats driving me is that its good for KIDS and fun for me. :-)
