Had one of the most enjoyable days of my retirement today. I got to go to a local high school and talk to two classes about being a writer. The most exciting was the Creative Writing Class that has an awesome teacher who really loves what she is doing and is a very positive influence on her students. We got to discuss writing, publishing and marketing their works. A great variety of interests in writing. Very talented, intelligent and bright students. I had a great time and was able to read excerpts and discuss There Is A Dragon In My Closet. I had a great time. Hope they did too and that each found several ponies (inside joke that I can share with you if you want) during the two hours we wrote, published and marketed together.
