Had such a nice time in Kentucky the last couple of days. Mom enjoyed it too. We went down memory lane deep into the hills and seen where my mom was raised (the house no longer there), to the family cemetery, we saw what was left of her old school house, we visited her baby brother (who is two years older than me, and my childhood playmate), her sisters daughter Lula Mae, and spent precious time with her sister Linda and her daughter Valentine Lykins. There is not enough money in the world that I would take to trade those moments. So glad that I was able to go and that my Aunt made time for us.
