Had to see the physician today at Planned Parenthood and there are picketers! I support freedom of speech but these poor girls are already having a hard enough time, is it really necessary to put a plastic fetus in their face?! I see the questions in their eyes, the fear, the way they wont make eye contact when I try to smile at them as I wait next to them in the waiting room; is it truly necessary to push pictures of aborted fetuses in their face?! I just talked with a girl who had three different types of failed birth control, who was ALONE by the way, who is about to move to Vietnam to teach children and even as she waits in the waiting room, she is unsure but resolute. This is the hardest decision a girl or a woman can make and if the appointment is made, the decision is almost a for sure made decision. Leave them be! After my IUD is switched, Im going out there to let them know all of this as well. Grrrrrrr!
