Peter’s hairdressing talent was recognised at an early age. He began his career in 1982 as a 16 year old apprentice, and was swiftly recognised with awards from college and HIS. In 1988 Peter set up his own salon, Sochi, in order to achieve creative freedom and enjoy the art of hairdressing on his own terms. In the 90s he became an educator and ambassador for Toni and Guy and a judge for the Hair Expo Hairdresser of the Year awards, as well as working in major shows alongside world renowned talent like Andrew Collinge and Trevor Sorbie. Peter’s relaxed style and creative vision are evident in his work. Peter joined the Matrix Australia Design team in 2009 and has educated the Matrix TREND to regional audiences across the country, receiving rave reviews from participants. He’s also had a guest appearance on the Matrix stage at Sydney Hair Expo and Matrix Australia Destination 2010.
