JOB REQUIREMENTS Demonstrate upbeat, professional conduct towards students, co-workers, and school patrons at all times. Begin class on time; maintain punctual arrival to ensure absolute preparedness. Comply with all Academy dress code and company policies at all times. Prepare and deliver lecture and lab demonstrations as outlined in curriculum; administer grades weekly. Directly supervise daily activities and tasks of students. Demonstrate effective teaching skills Demonstrate understanding of and encourage all learning styles and temperaments. Track and advise students of their academic progress. Identify students with possible challenges and collaborate with faculty and staff to generate possible solutions; seek administrative council when dealing with students who need additional support. Supervise student duties to ensure a clean, safe work and learning environment. Continually identify areas needing self-improvement and advance own training by implementing and completing additional training programs. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Minimum of two years of successful salon experience Ability to inspire students and lead by example Be a team player with a positive attitude Excellent group/classroom management skills Excellent technical hairdressing, colour, and cosmetology skills Knowledge of State Board procedures This position requires a cosmetology teacher license in NY No calls or visits please. hairlineillusions/jobs.html
