After being honorably discharged, Jon returned home to Westchester and practiced as a master carpenter for over 30 years. Jon served the community as a member of the Mount Kisco Fire Department (Independent Fire Co.) and was an active member of the American Legion. Jon is survived by his wife of 11 years, Fran Hall, his three sons Jon D Hall Jr., Christopher Hall, Scott Hall and his six grandchildren. Jon was also survived by his three brothers, Augustus, Donald, William and sister, Marcia, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. Jon is now at peace. All that are saddened by his departure should find comfort and solace knowing that once again he is watchfully waiting looking down on us.
