Halloween is such a great movie! Horror movies now are nothing but jump scares, and moving furniture, but Halloween knows the power of subtlety, and for me creepy images of Michael Myers staring from across the street have a much longer lasting impact than ghosts screaming at the camera for an hour and a half. Halloween also has the creepiest endings in any movie ever! 5 out of 5 stars absolutely astonishing film making by a great director John Carpenter.
