Hamas have indeed shoot rockets towards Israel, and even though these have scarcely harm anyone, it does not diminish their intent. But to claim that Israel has the right to defend itself should make you question...defend itself from what? Hamas was created in 1987 but Israels attacks on Palestine pre-date the existence of any Hamas! So who were they defending themselves from before Hamas? And who were they attacking if not innocent people? From what we see there is no balance here. Just a powerful war machine against civilians who have no way to defend themselves. Palestinians are as diverse in culture, religion as in their beliefs, but what the powerful Israeli propaganda machinery does is to reduce the entirety of Palestine to Hamas, and then of course demonise them as terrorist! Now for the sake of argument: Suppose we wake up tomorrow and there is no Hamas. Then what? The magnificent benevolent Israel will return the stolen Palestine to their rightful owners? Of course not! Then why shouldnt the Palestinians have the right to continue opposing the occupation of their homeland by whatever means they have? We may not agree or even like Hamas, but we cannot deny them as being an integral part of the residence. Truth is the mere existence of Palestinians is the denial of Israel and its dominant Zionist ideology to create a pure jewish state. However Israel cannot clean their hands from this one. The public is not blind. And the excuses used to justify yet again their latest attacks on Gaza, does not hold up anymore. Neither the Rockets that Hamas randomly throws at Israel, nor the underground tunnels built to possibly target civilians. Justify hundreds of Palestinian that have been killed since this operation started. Even the UN had to agree that Israel might have committed War Crime this time! And there is not equal proportion in scale of attack when using, White Phosphorus Missiles, AK-47s, F-16s, Blackhawks, Apaches, Drones, and powerful Tanks. Compared to the rudimentary military equipment used by Hamas. If the target was indeed Hamas alone then why not launch a ground operation on their militants and preserve hundreds of innocent lives? Because as some will say, Israel has become a murderous colonial occupier that will not stop until the very last inch of Palestine is taken. I dont know if this is true, but the very fact that they keep denying the existence of the Palestinians shows that maybe this argument is not far from Israels original intentions. And even if hundreds of Jewish people have joined humanity against this apartheid regime. It seems we are far from seeing an end to this conflict. Because whether Israelis like it or not, Palestinians persist in their homeland, resist occupation, procreate, sing, dance, compose music, write poetry, make films, stage drama, organise acts of civil disobedience...and yes, some will also pick up a few flimsy arms against the most sophisticated and unpunished armed robbery of a homeland in history (except maybe for Kurdistan). Killing innocents is not war its GENOCIDE!!! Before you make youre mind about something, dont let yourself be brainwashed into the propaganda on either side. Or just blindly repeat what youve been told. Study facts, inform yourself. FIND THE TRUTH BEFORE YOU SPEAK!!!
