In todays NWI Times, U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky and Sen. Joe Donnelly testified before the U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday in support of anti-dumping tariffs on hot-rolled steel products from China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and the Ukraine. Most of the local mills make hot-rolled steel. The federal legislators said tariffs must continue to be enforced to protect American steelworkers, since the steel industry is still recovering in a fragile economy.
