Handicap International (HI) aims to help people with disabilities to regain their independence, dignity and rights. Our vision is of a world in which all forms of disabilities can be prevented, cared for or integrated, and in which the rights of people with disabilities are respected and applied. Handicap International is seeking for a qualified and motivated candidate to fulfill a position of Road Safety Research Project Manager based in Phnom Penh and occasional travel to provinces. Mission: To coordinate and implement road safety research projects in Cambodia. Main responsibilities: The road safety research project manager will be assigned to the following main responsibilities: • Participate in planning and designing road safety research projects • Lead the implementation of field work, and take part/lead in the analysis and report writing • Manage HI road safety research team and provide capacity building to the local research team • Perform administration, record keeping or statistical tasks related to the research projects • Work with local research team/consultants in managing research projects/surveys Requirements: • Bachelor degree • Strong interest in research activities • Good knowledge in research: methodology, data analysis, report writing • Good analytical and creative thinking skills • Ability to work in a team and be at ease within a cross-cultural team • Strong coordination skills and good inter-personal communication skills • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Khmer and English • Demonstrated proficiency in the management of database with high level of computer proficiency (MS Excel and SPSS) Salary range from $580-$700 based on the qualification and experiences.
