Handstand work is all about being able to find your calmness inside. If you are disturbed inside, you will not find balance on your hands. Its a crazy amount of focus in such small and particular parts of your body and breath. You need a mental strength and belief in yourself to create lightness in your whole physical and mental body. What a challenging and exciting multi-task discipline to practice! Were way into our Advanced Handstand 5-week series at Studio Be Yoga right now. One more class left! Weve been building up and refining our fundamentals as well as presses and more fun stuff!! Lots of going up and down the handstand, and lots of refinement in spotting. Im very impressed by all the students. They have improved their flexibility, strength and most of all, the awareness in handstand positions!
