Happy 12-13-14 everybody, this will be the last time we can say that for a while, eh! Anyways, with all this crap going on with me, I can look back and say to all of you – this is what my house used to look like before I taught Jennifer Faustman how to be a master carpenter. Im being serious, this is actually the house across the street from my house, but it was built in 1900 just like mine was, by the same builder, using the same layout and materials and EVERYTHING. I had a different vision, it was sparled when this city would not let me fix my garage because it was on the property line, so I said how high can I go. After a couple of days and a few conversations with friends, this reality was built in my mind, then it was built by Jenis and my hands. She really did do about half of the work, we would let my guys off work like normal people, wed run to the hardware store, and come home with that weekend worth of materials. Someday, my little list of jobs I need to finish will have its day with me and my tool bags, and Robbie and his miniature tool bags. My first memory of life was helping my dad convert our garage into a living room and building a garage addition. My whole life I grew up gutting my parents house, rewiring and refinishing the entire thing - so I say thank you mom and dad for teaching me so much. I hope I can be as good a dad as I had. I will be home for the next foreseeable future, whenever you want to hear the story and take a tour, send me a message... Ill be there❤️⛄️
